Fic: In Time (Harry Potter, gen, PG)
bonnie wright

Title: Walk of Faith (the In Time remix)
Rating: PG
Pairing: gen, if you can believe that. Neville's family.
Summary: Great Uncle Algie can’t wait for his grand-nephew to show promise as a wizard. Unfortunately, that may just take time.
Notes: Written as a remix of [info]vissy's story Walk of Faith in the Remix Redux III challenge. That was about three months ago, and I just forgot to archive it here. Whoops.

Title: On the Day I Said 'I Do'
Fandom: Harry Potter
Pairing: James/Lily
Rating: PG-13. If that.
Warning: Character death, but it's all canon.
Notes: I'm at a loss to explain this one. It's not girlslash, it's not boyslash, and it's not NC-17. I don't even know where I would post such a story.
I'm not sure how I feel about the ending. I had more trouble with the last four paragraphs than the rest of the story put together, and actually, I thought about not keeping those in at all. So concrit on that part is very welcome.

Drabble: In the Genes (Harry Potter, gen, PG)

Title: In the Genes
Originally posted at: [info]hp100 and [info]hp100uncut
Characters: Hermione's parents and that younger sister who never made it into the books
Rating: PG
Notes: This drabble grew out of my cranky feelings about the newest update to JKR's website, in which she states that magic is a dominant and resilient gene. Scientifically, there is no way a child can express a dominant gene if neither of her biological parents do. Which brings me to the question of Hermione ...

She's apologized dozens of times over the years. She's said she's sorry with flowers, tears, and sex. She knows it was a mistake, one that she never plans to repeat. What more does he want?

Jane still remembers the look on his face when he found that website, stating that magical ability is a dominant and resilient gene. Michael was never great shakes at science, and she watched him for a full minute, hoping it wouldn't compute. But it did. His eyes—blue, unlike their firstborn daughter's—fell like shooting stars, and he began to cry.

As far as she knows, he's never told Hermione. Jane doubts that will fool her for long, since their daughter reads anything and everything, wizarding or otherwise, that she can get her hands on. But for now, it seems to be working.

After Hermione went to Hogwarts—after the undeniable knowledge of her ability came out—they had another child, a daughter. Olivia is four years old now. Jane knows that this baby will never show any signs of magic, and every day she hugs her younger daughter and prays that she is enough to make Michael forgive her.

Drabble: Law and Order (Harry Potter, gen, G)
helena peabody
[info]celfic
Title: Law and Order
House: Ravenclaw
Words: 100
Characters, pairings: A Muggle lawyer, judge, and man, and Dumbledore

Samuel E. Goldenstein, of Goldenstein and Lymond, shook his head. His client was scribbling across his legal pad, stopping every few seconds as if to dip his ballpoint pen in ink.

"Control your client, Mr. Goldenstein," the judge said.

The man drew some strange creatures that looked like horses with wings and heads of eagles.

"Mr. Goldenstein, how does your client plead?"

Samuel looked at his client, who was mumbling about men in black who cast spells on him, and sighed. "Not guilty by reason of insanity, Judge."

Albus Dumbledore picked up The New York Times and shook his head.

A/N: Written for the "Law" challenge at [info]hp100. People commented that this one was "eerie" and gave them "the chills," which was surprising because that's not what I meant to do. More than anything, I thought the premise was sad - because when we look at this situation from the wizarding world, it is sad that they can't let Muggles know what's going on. But of course, in real life, if someone told me he was seeing hippogriffs, I might think he was insane too.

FIC: Growing Up (Harry Potter, Sirius/Harry/Remus, NC-17)
helena peabody
[info]celfic
Title: Growing Up
Pairing: Sirius/Harry/Remus (with all permutations of two)
Rating: NC-17
Warning: Maybe a bit of watching. First-time. Anal sex. Is 16 AOC in the wizarding world? If not, then Harry's underage.
Words: Less than 5000. But not much less.
Author's Notes: For the [info]pornish_pixies August Fantasy Fest - thank you for accepting it late. [info]byandby requested: Remus/Harry/Sirius. Remus and Sirius show Harry (over 16) what sex is all about during a night of drinking. Any kink is good. I like rugs in living rooms.

I was pleased to write this, because I don't write much boysex. Unfortunately, the over-16 requirement meant that I had to rearrange the canon a bit. So, pretend that everything at the end of OotP happened (i.e. with the prophecy and all) but that Sirius didn't die. And then we'll all be happy and smuttified.

Title: Ink, Part 1: The Colour of Your Heart
Part: 1/4
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: Ron/Hermione, unrequited-Harry/Ron, unrequited-Ginny/Hermione
Date: August 2003
Author's Note: Harry's POV. Based on and inspired by the following lines in OotP.
"... And it might have been a good idea to mention how ugly you think I am too," Hermione added as an afterthought.
"But I don't think you're ugly," said Harry, bemused.

And thus, with some slashification in mind, the Ink series was born. This is set in a bit of an AU, in which the war has been won and everything is lah-dee-dah (which happens in the rapid covering of the more than two years).

Fic: Rainfall (Harry Potter, Hermione/Ginny, NC-17)
helena peabody
[info]celfic
Title: Rainfall
Rating: NC-17
Warning: Femslash ahoy
Pairing: Hermione/Ginny, Hermione/OC
Date: August 2003
Author's Note: Songfic, based on Dar Williams' song "The Beauty of the Rain," from her latest CD by the same title. This fic has been running its way through my head ever since I heard the song for the first time. All lyrics belong to Dar Williams, distributed by Razor & Tie Direct, L.L.C., 2003. No infringement of copyright is intended. No money, profit, or wage is garnered from the use of Ms. Williams' fantastically beautiful lyrics.
Written in second person Hermione POV, which is unusual for me. I don't use second person much, and my Hermione/Ginny is usually relegated to Ginny's POV, so this is something new all around.

Pairing: Ron/Hermione, Harry/Ginny, mentions of Harry/Draco and Harry/Snape
Date: July 2003
Author's Note: More humour, which hopefully comes out a bit funnier than my last attempt. Introducing homemaker!Hermione, blatantlygay!Harry, overworked!Ron, and liveandletlive!Ginny.

[info]celfic
Title: My Name is Not Voldie
Rating: PG
Warning: None
Pairing: None
Date: July 2003
Author's Note: I meant for this to be a humorfic, but as usually happens (and as happened with Harry Potter and the Pathetic Excuse for a Wizard), some serious/angst/drama snuck in anyway. So this isn't nearly as gratuitously stupid as I planned it to be, but it's pretty pointless anyway.

Fic: Ribbons (Harry Potter, McGonagall/Dumbledore, PG)
helena peabody
[info]celfic
Title: Ribbons
Rating: PG
Warning: None
Pairing: There's an implied het pairing, sort of.
Date: July 2003
Author's Note: This is a fic with no point really, except that the first and last lines came to me and it wanted to be longer than a drabble. A bit of a peek inside Minerva McGonagall's head, throughout OotP. McGonagall loves and hates, at the same time.

[info]celfic
Title: Harry Potter and the Pathetic Excuse for a Wizard
Rating: PG
Warning: You mean aside from what passes for humour? None.
Pairing: None
Date: June 30, 2003
Author's Note: This really isn't nearly as hilarious as I thought it was when the idea came to me, but I sort of like it anyway. As anyone who reads my original fic will tell you, I don't really write humour, and as a result this is attempting to be humour with a touch of my usual depressing-ness.
Set during GoF, specifically Chapter Thirty-Two: Flesh, Blood, and Bone. You'll recognize the introductory lines. The rather lengthy title was inspired by a passing comment on [info]thieving_gypsy's livejournal, that OotP might as well have been titled Harry Potter and the Really Nasty Headache.

Title: The "When Pigs Fly!" Collection
Author's Notes: This is a series of drabbles that I wrote for my first [info]hp100 challenge – "When Pigs Fly!" Naturally, the theme was to create the most OOC characters that you could. I liked some of them more than others, so here they are. All 100 words. All for Ravenclaw.
